Aside from his highly publicized beef with Pusha T, Rap Star Lil Wayne seems to have ongoing problems with the employees of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Wayne was at Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the Thunders, and the rap star was finally able to get the court-side seat that he was previously unable to get. Even though he got his front row view, he still became angry at staff and publicly downed them on Twitter about the issue.
“Again I was treated like sh*t by the Thunder arena staff…dam..I hope da Heat beat da dog shit out em!!”
Game 2 of the series will continue on Thursday night. I Wonder if Wanye will be there this time.
As rap star 50 Cent puts the final tweaks on his highly awaited fifth solo album, the rapper has began to speak more about the album. During an interview with Hot 107.9, 50 cent told the title of his project.
The album is entitled Five (Murder By Numbers), and the project is still scheduled to be released on July 3rd.
“@50cent has a new album dropping July 3rd called Five (Murder by Numbers). Make sure you go and get that,” tweeted the radio dj.
This project is 50 Cent’s first release since the year 2008.
July 3rd? That is crazy, no single no promo, no nothing? The mixtapes have been hot, but are you sure that is enough?
I hope 50 isn't over estimating his actual worth in the current music economy.
During the month of January, Machine Gun Kelly along with is his crew engaged in a pretty vicious bar fight in Florida. In the fight MGK threw a liquor bottle at the bouncer named William Long. The liquor bottle apparently cut the ring finger on his right hand. The bottle did extensive damage, as the guard’s finger was cut apart on both sides. Reportedly, the injury took two surgeries to fully repair the damage. MGK was apprehended for the crazy ordeal, and now the rap star is putting up with the issue in civil court (Mr. Long is suing him for over $10,000.)
Kanye West has been out of the country for awhile, on his “Watch The Throne” tour with Jay-Z. As of now, they are in Birmingham, England performing for their fans.
TMZ says, someone used Kanye’s absence to their advantage during his time away and his house in Los Angeles has reportedly been the target of theft.
Los Angeles law officials say that a person representing Rap star Kanye West called the Local police on Wednesday morning to report the break-in.
No other details or information has beengiven on the subject and nothing has been reported as missing or stolen. The LAPD are further investigating the burglary.
Rap is a unique style that is different from all the other music genres. It is doing what is needed to survive. the plurality of people united by roots and origin. What attracts people to rap? Is it just catchy, the beats or something deeper?
Rap is the combination of lyrics and beats, actually it is lyrics spoken on musical beats. And when we say that individuals are united through music, meaning every single person in the world, rap unites together. What attracts individuals to rap? Is it catchy? Is it the musical beats that mixes the two together?
Some hooks can be catchy and when sung with a certain tone, will stay in your mind long after. Top rappers have unique tones that some people may find attractive or sound the same as their own voice, and make it makes it more catchy.
One may say that rap is the most pain expressing musical genre. Those who iterate it would say it "revives" their emotions not only dealing with love, as most other genres do. Rap is message is about life and its joy and its problems, primarily, ones of the Black community.
You guys should do the yourselves a favor, and never let rap die.
